XCOM 2 is a fantastic game. It is also a highly customizable game, which I appreciate immensely. I messed around with the ini files a bunch to tweak the game to my liking.

Black Market UsageThis a perfect tool for those who are wondering what all the items listed in the market are needed for. 'Don't show' - only show items from your current research level. 'Show' - show everything you have not researched/built yet. 'Obfuscate' - obfuscate what will be shown by displaying unresearched tech/gear as '???' Gotcha Again!Do you like indicators? This is by far, one of the simplest mods you can get, but it's great for people who are playing in regions the game didn't initially include.

With over 20 new countries, the mod creator Sgt. Nutcracker has added in plenty of new options, and seems to not be stopping anytime soon! Another simple but useful Mod, this one allows you to send all units into Overwatch with the push of a button. This is particularly useful on higher difficulties, where many turns are spent slowly creeping across the map and entering Overwatch. An honorable mention goes to the Mod, which does the same thing except for evacuations. This mod, brought to us by several creators, aims to cut down on the amount of waiting you have to do. It removes lengthy pauses from attacks and other actions, as well as speeding up the movement of the Avenger.

Although subtle, it can go a long way to saving several minutes worth of time on each mission. This mod, brought to us by Long War Studios, adds an entire new class to the game.

The Leader class is a support class, designed to buff up your other soldiers. You're only allowed to have one deployed at a time due to their potent buffing effects. The only downside is that your soldier who is training to be a Leader can't be taken on any missions while in training. Sometimes reading the health bars can be a pain, particularly on those enemies with 30+ health. This mod fixes that, by turning all health values into simple, and clear numeric displays. Brought to us by Peewi, this Mod doesn't change much, but can be a great quality of life improvement for those who hate the standard health bar system the game employs.

Brought to us by Isms, this mod adds a whole new class to the game. Designed to use stealth, the Rogue is meant to flank enemies to maximize damage. This mod also requires the to function, since the Rogue uses an SMG as their main weapon. It seems that some Class Mods are conflicting with each other currently, so use at your own risk! The one mod to rule them all, EladDv has created a weapon that shoots pigeons at your enemies. The gun does +3 damage but has a -10% chance to critical hit. Obviously meant for fun, we don't recommend using this gun on your hardcore playthroughs!

Another simple quality of life improvement. Brought to us by WastelandGhost, this mod lets you smoothly turn the camera left and right, instead of it jumping on preset 45 degree spots. You can also now zoom in and out in a far easier fashion, making some of those annoying inner building movements easier.

This mod, made by SakuraKoi, makes the game harder by adding 1-2 aliens for each pod on a map. Although it will make things more difficult, this also increases the chances to gain loot and of course experience points. Do keep in mind that more enemies means more work for your computer, so run this at your own risk on lower end PCs. This mod can go hand in hand with the previous one. Created by BlueRaja, this will allow you to increase the total squad size to 8 soliders. You have to purchase the upgrades, just like normal, which helps keep this mod in check. This mod will obviously cause the game to become easier, so we definitely suggest pairing it with the above mod.

However, a word of warning. These two mods combined will add a considerable amount of units to the map, so if you already have issues running the game, these mods might not be for you!
