System Restore Greyed Out
Jan 2, 2019 - System restore is an inbuilt Windows feature that allows restoring system settings from previously saved restore points. This feature has saved. Fix System Restore Point Creation / Configuration Disabled by Group Policy or System Administrator in Windows. Sometimes when you try to create a System Restore point or want to configure System Restore feature in Windows, you find that the Create and Configure buttons are grayed out and you see following messages. OK I have a Presario CQ56, I have looked at tutorials and all of that for this particular model. I am trying to make my computer recognize a - 4334530.

@xhiThis after I click next from front page of Restore, which now for some reason I cannot copy or capture.My front page is like yours but only shows half of that page.IMGlooked here:Start Control Panel System System Protection -Says can restore now but this is 14.6.2012, which is when this startedall three are ticked but I have not done restore for this date.as I want to go back to last weeks updates.Will now look at whs suggestion@whi gives a list of aoto recovers and ends with C/system. Making the registry changes hasn't solved the problem either and I have also checked turning off anti-virus, but withoutsuccess here either.PQSERVICE will only restore to the very original settings when I would liek to be able simply to roll back to a previous restore point.Don't quite understand your point about proper language - I was born English and learnt English as my mother tongue. Hi,By saying the proper language, I mean the language showed in the picture. Apologize for confusing description.Could you please tell which partition that you are trying to backup with? I assume the configure tab is under the Acer(C:) partition, Where is theACERDATA (D:) partition?Reference:Please take a check with other partitions to see if restore system settings and previous versions of files is available.If the Acer(C:) is the primary partition, how could it showing not found(your first post) here?
